In Loving Memory of
Jerre L. Gensemer
September 13, 1942  --  October 30, 2015
 

     Our brother in faith, Jerre L. Gensemer, age 73, of Robesonia, a member of St. Paul's UCC, passed away on Friday, October 30, 2015 at the Reading Hospital.

 

     He was the husband of Jane E. (Oxenreiter) Gensemer.  Together they celebrated 53 years of marriage.

 

     In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Lisa, wife of Gary Wiltrout, of Wernersville; Lori, partner of Joseph Mulally, of Sinking Spring; a brother, Barry Gensemer husband of Dorothy, of Myerstown; sister-in-law, Brenda widow of William Gensemer, Jr., of Berwick; two grandchildren, Ryan and Colin; and five step-grandchildren, Jon, Michael, Samantha, Neko, and Logan.

 

     Born in South Heidelberg Township on September 13, 1942, he was a son of the late Grace (Rhine) and William Gensemer.

 

     He was a 1960 graduate of Wilson High School.  Jerre was employed at Sun Pipeline as a Quality Control Supervisor, retiring in 2009.

 

     He was a member of the Lebanon Valley Sportsman Association and Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club.

 

     A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 11:00am in the Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, Inc., Wernersville, with the Rev. Deborah Winters officiating.  Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Funeral Home.  A private interment will take place at Pleasant View Cemetery.

 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 25 Stevens Ave., West Lawn, PA 19609.
