     Our sister in faith, Elizabeth E. “Lizzie” Brunner, 82, of Wernersville, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.
 
     She was the wife of Norman P. Brunner, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage on January 2nd.
      

     Lizzie, a daughter of the late Ralph C. and Emily E. (Quillman) Gilbert, was born in Reading. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Jeffrey N. Brunner, husband of Sandra; Sharon E., wife of Robert Henning; a brother, Thomas Gilbert; a sister, Dolores Lape; three grandchildren, Lauren E., wife of Harrison Hartman, Stephanie K., wife of Andrew Mueller, and Ryan J. Brunner, husband of Alexandra; three great grandchildren, Noah Hartman, River Hartman, and Henry Mueller; three step grandchildren, Jennifer, wife of Christopher Lechleitner, Robert J. Henning, husband of Heather, and Kristen, wife of J. Matthew Hook; and nine step great grandchildren, Trentin Lechleitner, Avonlea Lechleitner, Robert Henning, Brayden Henning, Anderson Henning, Paisley Hook, Ellie Hook, Nolan Hook, and Bennett Hook. She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Moyer.

 

Brunner NormLiz_1987-B     She was a member of the United Church of Christ of Robesonia, formerly of St. Paul’s UCC, where she was very active.

 

     Lizzie was a 1959 graduate of Conrad Weiser High School. Lizzie retired from Hair on the Avenue and had previously worked as secretary to the District Magistrate in Robesonia.

 

     She was a past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Conrad Weiser Chapter #449, loved spending time with her family, the beach, reading a good book, attending concerts, and playing games with family.

 

     Services will be held at 11:30am, Wednesday, June 19th, at the United Church of Christ ofRobesonia, 301 West Penn Avenue, Robesonia. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:30-11:30am, Wednesday, at the church. Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 West Penn Avenue, Wernersville, is handling arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.lammandwitman.com.

 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at 301 West Penn Avenue, Robesonia, PA 19551.

    Funeral Service:  Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 11:30am,  
                         at the United Church of Christ of Robesonia. 
                         Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 10:30-11:30am. 

    Burial Service:  Wednesday, June 19, 2024 following the funeral service 
                         Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia. 
                         Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 10:30-11:30am.
 
    Prayers of Remembrance:  Sunday, June 23, 2024,
                         during the 10:15am Worship Service, at the
