Live Stream Overview
Even if you cannot come to the church sanctuary to worship, you can still join us by watching and hearing the Sunday worship service (and some special services) by watching the Live Stream on our St. Paul's UCC YouTube Channel. Plus, we often have a video of the worship service available online afterward on our church's YouTube channel, which you can watch later if you missed the live stream.
We post the upcoming week's bulletin on this page in a pdf format, so that you can follow along with the bulletin in your own home (or whever you might be watching the stream). Some of our viewers find that it helps to print out the bulletin ahead of time, and then use that paper copy while watching the live stream on their computer, tablet, phone, or other device.

Bulletin Page Announcements
Please note, we do not post the announcement pages of our weekly bulletin online. Instead, click on this Upcoming Events Page link for information about upcoming events. Telephone Live Streaming & Playback Worship
You can also listen to the worship service live using a landline or cell phone by calling our toll free Phone Stream number 1-888-649-5770. (No internet, smartphone, tablet, or computer is necessary - this works with a standard corded phone, cell phone, or even with a rotary phone).
You also have the option for the church to automatically call you when the live stream worship begins (rather than you calling the church); which you can sign up for at the above toll free number, or you can call the church office, and we can add you to the call list for you.
The Phone Stream will automatically store the last few most recent worship services, which will be available for playback at the toll free number; meaning that if you couldn't join us live on Sunday, you can still listen to a playback of the worship service on Monday, later in the week, or the following week.
If you know of someone who does not have internet access, please let them know of this feature, especially as they cannot log onto the website and find out about this themselves.
There is no fee to the caller for using this service. This is made possible through the members' regular tithes and offerings.
This is a new pilot program for us beginning in August. If you have any questions, difficulties, or issues, please let us know by calling the office at 610-621-5770. If this works well and enough people like using this feature, we will continue it beyond August.

Witness and Testimonies in Worship
Members sharing their testimonies and witnesses of faith during the worship service is an essential and central aspect of how the Christian faith is shared with others. Your real life stories help bring hope, encouragement, and inspiritation to the life of others. Your examples of how God is at work in the world, help people see God at work, and know better where and how to look to see God in their lives.
What kind of stories might you want to share? Stories where the central figure is God, and how God led you to experience: hope, blessings, healing, reconcilliation, forgiveness, love, compassion, kindness, peace, unity, etc. Or, perhaps where you have experienced the "fruits of the Spirit": love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Or, perhaps where you have seen God at work in blessings the life of another through a mission or ministry of the church.
During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic we are doing worship a bit differently, and as such we are doing witness and testimony a bit differently. You are invited to: (1) do a video self-recording sharing your witness (it need not be long - 15 seconds to 2 minutes would be fine, but not longer than 5 minutes); or (2) you could email or postal mail a written witness for a worship leader to read during the streamed worship service. If you are not sure about the wording of your witness, the pastor can be of help. We will review submissions before sharing them in worship to help ensure that they are appropriate and give feedback where helpful to do so.
Thank you for answering the call, as a disciple of Christ, to share your faith, as it brings hope, encouragement, and inspiration to the lives of others.
For more information (including technical questions about how to send a submission), please contact Lynelle Heimbach, Chair of the Worship Committee; or Pastor Ben; or the church office. You can email your witness to Pastor Ben at PastorMotz@sprucc.org. We could also potentially pick up a USB thumb drive, SD card, or paper copy from you at your home (contact the office for information about doing a pick up).
Highlights from Past Worship Services
On Sunday, February 11, a sound clip from the song "Jesus I Believe" by Big Daddy Weave was played before worship. The Pastor referenced this song in his sermon. You can view the music video on YouTube, by clicking on it below. "Jesus, I believe; help my unbelief!" (Mark 9:24b).
On Sunday, February 4, the sermon included the following music video, "Just Breathe" by Jonny Diaz. In the midst of all the tasks of "doing" in our lives, it is equally important, if not more important, to take the time to "just be" with God (see Mark 1:35).
